The Next Garden Is Different.
There are no more rows, no more growing for production. I'm growing for beauty now, and for the pollinators who need the food.
I'm choosing plants for how they bring beauty to a garden, but also for how they dry and hold their shape once they've reached the end. Some will be cut and dried. Some I'll trial for botanical dye later in the year.
Right now I'm just getting started, clearing the ground, sowing seeds, learning this new space bed by bed. I don't know exactly what it will become yet, and I'm letting myself be okay with that.
I'll keep adding to these notes as the garden grows and the seasons turn.
